Craig County Rural Health Care Corporation

Craig County Rural Health Care Corporation (CCRHCC) is a non-stock 501 (C)(3) corporation which, through an Assignment of Lease, leases the Craig County Health Center complex (located in New Castle, Virginia) to Monroe Health Center (MHC) which operates the medical and dental components of the facility. Monroe Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Care (FQHC) organization. CCRHCC also serves as a conduit through which funds are directed to MHC for its continued operations of the Craig County center. Since MHC is not a 501 (C)(3) corporation, but is an arm of the Monroe County, WV county government, requests for financial assistance from sources that require the recipient to have 501 (C)(3) status are made through CCRHCC.
