Creer Communidad Y Familia

Two grants were issued for 31 children of under-resourced families to participate in two different camp experiences. 2 children joined over 100 8-16 year-olds for two weeks of residential camp in the mountains near Yosemite. The other 29 children, along with children from two other organizations serving under-resourced families in south Orange County, enjoyed a summertime day camp experience. This dedicated camp of 5 days included outdoor activities such as archery, nature exploration and horses, along with singing, story telling and creative arts. Surrounded by wholesome role models and loads of encouragement, campers build friendship skills, experience new adventures, gain new confidence and a deeper understanding of God's love.
