Advocacy Services: In 2024, CVTCs Legal Team provided trauma-informed legal representation and advocacy to 278 individuals, supporting clients on a broad range of issues including orders of protection, child custody and support, divorce, immigration, housing, public benefits, and advocacy with law enforcement and prosecutors. That same year, CVTCs Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Program provided advocacy and therapeutic support to incarcerated survivors of sexual violence and harassment in 13 correctional facilities across New York State. CVTC also continued to coordinate statewide victim support under New York's PREA legislation, overseeing the delivery of services to all state facilities and guiding partner agencies in providing effective support to this population.

Training Services: In 2024, CVTC held its annual in-person 40-hour Rape Crisis and Domestic Violence Advocate Training, welcoming 53 new volunteers to its dedicated team of advocates who provide compassionate support to survivors at each of CVTCs six partner hospitals. That same year, CVTCs SAFE Training Institute trained 111 medical professionals; 81 advanced practitioners (MDs, DOs, PAs, and NPs) and 30 registered nurses (RNs), ensuring a new cohort of trauma-informed, highly skilled providers are available to perform forensic evidence collection and compassionate emergency medical care to survivors of sexual assault across New York City. Additionally, CVTCs Prevention Team facilitated 95 trainings, reaching 5,028 New Yorkers with education and tools to recognize, prevent, and respond to interpersonal violence.
