Mission

Our mission is not simply to build schools. Crossing thresholds partners with grassroots leaders to create healthy and holistic learning environments that offer children a meaningful chance to break the cycle of poverty. Our schools also include feeding programs, medical care, and musical education.

In 2024 our futures program (which covers high school scholarships for all qualifing students from our five schools), enrolled 202 students.

In 2024 we ran 2 trips to kenya. We brought 82 volunteers to kibera, to work on the new center of hope, and experience firsthand how crossing thresholds is changing lives through providing education to the poorest of the poor.
