The purpose of the organization is to, directly or indirectly, work to solve homelessness in the united states among veterans and others through the acquisition, holding, operation, transfer, sale, exchange, or other disposition of living facilities dedicated in part to veterans and others exiting homelessness and that otherwise qualify as affordable housing in a manner consistent with the requirements of section 501(c)(3) of the code.
