The resident dance company of cubacaribe features ramos' innovative fusion of afro-cuban modern, folkloric and popular cuban dance. Alayo has choreographed thirteenevening-length works for his company that fuse modern, afro-cuban folkloric, and populardance and that deal with social and personal issues, such as slavery, pollution,immigration, cancer, and racism from an afro-cuban perspective local ongoing danceclasses take place weekly at a variety of bay area studios.
