Mission

Valuing all human life, the ccpc provides hope to those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, ministers healing to those who have experienced abortion and upholds truth to the community through sexual risk avoidance education.

Programs

2 programs

In 1990, the CCPC expanded its programs to include the Sexual Risk Avoidance Program. The Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) Program educates adolescents (primarily in public middle and high schools), about the physical, emotional, and psychological impacts of sexual activity outside of a permanently committed relationship, while encouraging sexual abstinence until marriage. Our certified sexual risk avoidance educators present this information in an age-appropriate format using well-documented and medically accurate information, while affirming each person's intrinsic worth. The goal of the sexual risk avoidance program is to teach students how to eliminate (not just reduce) the risks of teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). In the 2024-25 school year, the SRA program made 165 presentations to 3,950 students.
