The help at long last program continued with volunteers who went into the homes of the elderly, disabled, single parents, and veterans to perform 24 "honey do" maintenance repairs around the house. This included fixing plumbing leaks, installing and or checking smoke alarms, painting, cleaning dryer vents, installing window a/c units, and such.

After the may flooding, the derecho storm of june and hurricane beryl in july, we mobilized volunteers to muck, gut, and tarp. In august we received $750,000 from the greater houston desaster alliance to repair homes damaged by those three storms. We completed 32 rebuilds by year's end, and provided $350,000 in direct financial assistance. In december we activated our partnership with mennonite disaster services who committed to sending amish and mennonite volunteers throughout the coming winter, summer, and again the winter of 2027.
