The program encourages independence and self - achievement in a structured atmosphere with daily educational programs offered by a staff educator. The programs are directed at intellectual and cultural discussions designed for stimulation and involvement. Individual tutoring for job retraining is also provided. The overall long term goal is to prepare the clients to be independent, and the chance to reenter the workforce.
