Mission
DAF Gives Charitable is a donor advised fund (sponsoring organization) supported by an online platform called DAFshare to raise funds for qualified public charities as defined by IRS 501(c)(3). Our mission is to accelerate charitable giving by elevating it into a rewarding and personal social experience. We seek to leverage humane technology with a user-friendly platform in order to connect donors, financial advisors and charities in self-sustaining online giving communities.
Programs
2 programs
As a new and still small Donor Advised Fund, we do not have service programs pre se. We accept donations from the general public and various groups who have organized on our platform and allow unrestricted grants based on the advice of our members. In 2024 we issued 740 grants to 169 operational charities for a total of $75,709. The causes supported by those charities included humanitarian and social services, health and medical research, animal welfare, education and environmental protection, veterans support, as well as support for children and the elderly. Our platform is unique in that it enables donors to take responsibility for charitable fundraising by creating online communities to drive capacity at scale.
