Provide trap neuter return services for local citizens to assist in reducing cat overpopulation. Volunteer efforts to trap, transport cats to local veterinary clinics for spay neuter and vaccinations. We were able to assist our volunteers in trap-neuter-return 1,230 cats and kittens. Volunteers to mentor citizens and assist with trapping, transporting cats to local clinics, caring for the cats after surgery and returning them to their homes. These efforts help to reduce the overpopulation of stray and feral cats in our targeted areas and provides assistance to citizens who care for the cats in their neighborhoods.
Provide basic pet care, supplies and other assistance to elderly, disabled or disadvantaged citizen pet owners to assist them with keeping their pets in their homes. To include basic veterinary care, food, litter, vaccines and assistance with pet deposits. This includes transport of the cats ( and sometimes their owners) to our partner veterinary clinics for routine and/or urgent care for pets. We also purchase basic cat supplies (food and litter) that the citizen might not be able to afford on limited income. We currently have 42 citizens who receive food and litter from us and another 20 who we were able to assist with medical veterinary expenses like wound care, dental care, urinary blockage, heart failure x-rays and unfortunately in some cases humane euthanasia for the pet with a veterinarian.
