Collect and disseminate information concerning dalmation dogs. This is accomplished by publishing the spotter magazine quarterly (available in print and online). The online version is viewable free of charge by anyone. We also provide funding for breed information booths at the westminster kc and royal canin dog shows (thousands attend those two shows), and at other dog shows as well.

To promote and advance the quality of breeding or dalmations through education, health and research. We host annual health clinics, send a member to the annual akc/chf health conference, and collect funds to forward to the dalmation club of american foundation. Health clinics are scheduled during the national specialty.
