Membership & communication outreach (free/nonvoting) membership & communication outreach is the primary unifying force of dancers' group. Our members receive a variety of thoughtful benefits and services that help keep them informed and connected to what's happening in dance in the san francisco bay area and beyond. 2024 benefits included access to in dance (three issues online) weekly emails featuring auditions, jobs, grants, free and discounted tickets, news and more grant deadlines; weekly performance reminders; artist resources, and discounts on dance activities. Dancers' group has continued to create significant value in membership, providing access to information, opportunity, and resources that are truly needed. As a result, we have 1,741 members as of december 31, 2024.

Expenses: $544K

Artist services - artist services included the ca$h dance regranting program that awarded $100,000 in grants to 10 individual artists and 10 organizations ($5,000 each). These grants supported a diverse roster of artists, highlighting dance forms such as african and african diasporic, aerial/vertical, acrobatic, bharatanatyam, classical chinese, contemporary ballet, freestyle, improvisation, jazz funk, kathak, street styles, and more. Bay area dance week returned in 2024 for its 24th year. From april 26 to may 5, the 10-day festival offered the public the opportunity to experience the region's vibrant and diverse dance scene, completely free of charge. The 2024 festival featured 179 free events, including performances, classes, workshops, open rehearsals, and more. Total attendance was 16,518. Onsite is a program of free, large-scale, site-specific dance in san francisco. On may 9th, 10th, and 12th, dancers' group presented a 3-day artistic intervention at san francisco city hall. Free attendance totaled 1,893 for the performances.
