DANEnet's Digital Equity Project leveraged existing partnerships with Dane County nonprofit agencies to identify low-income seniors, adults, and families on the other side of the digital divide. We distributed over 75 free refurbished donated laptops to households without computers, provided hundreds of low-income families with assistance identifying affordable internet programs, and offered 350 hours of free basic computer skills classes/clinics at local libraries and community centers.assistance identifying affordable internet programs, and offered over 400 hours of free computer skills classes and free computer repair clinics at local libraries and community centers.
