Education: In 2024, Dar-us-Sakina expanded its educational impact by opening a new Sunday School location and increasing enrollment in our Teen and Adult Program. Through these programs, we were able to provide consistent, inclusive, and faith-based learning opportunities tailored to the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our students built meaningful friendships, developed communication and life skills, and strengthened their connection to their faith and community. These achievements reflect our ongoing commitment to fostering belonging, independence, and personal growth for every participant we serve.

Expenses: $141K

Community Awareness Program: Our Community Awareness Programs have experienced tremendous growth over the past year, welcoming an increased number of dedicated interns and volunteers who are gaining valuable hands-on experience and professional skills in disability support and care. As more families connect with and rely on Dar-us-Sakina?s services, our interns and volunteers play a vital role in meeting the needs of a growing community. Their work not only strengthens their future career paths but also enhances the lives of the families we are privileged to serve, helping to address the ongoing shortage of skilled support personnel. This expansion reflects remarkable progress and a deeper community impact. Collectively, these programs have not only met but far exceeded expectations, reinforcing Dar-us-Sakina?s pivotal and expanding role in building a more inclusive and supportive society for individuals with disabilities and their families.
