Dash And Scout

Dash and Scout is a special needs collective for adults with Down syndrome and other varying abilities seeking a meaningful, more independent path. The Dash and Scout concept is unique to Virginia and boasts a series of hands-on programs designed to increase their independence. These programs allow adults with intellectual disabilities to come together for overnight multi-day retreats to experience independent living in an environment customized for individual participants. The experience also allows each family to be a partner in ensuring there is a strong focus on individual goals, growth and progress tracking. This, in turn, helps the participants discover how to create a "Life Recipe" for greater independence though day and weekend programs.
