The capacity building focuses on strengthening and catalyzing philanthropic endeavors by providing capacity-building support to non-profit organizations and generating research insights to drive informed decision-making. It has supported non-profit organizations working in the areas of education, gender, health, women's empowerment, and more. It also enhances operational capacities and conducts research to identify sectoral needs and opportunities for impact.
Dasra addresses critical urban sanitation issues to promote safe, inclusive, and sustainable human waste management. With rapid urbanization and a growing slum population, managing human waste has become a pressing challenge. Their efforts aim to ensure equitable sanitation access and reduce health risks caused by untreated sewage and contaminated water, especially for vulnerable urban populations.
