Davenport ministries, inc. (dmi), is a non-stock, non-profit corporation formed on september 25, 2015 in accordance with the not-for-profit statutes of the state of iowa, for the purpose of establishing, owning, and maintaining affordable low-income housing and related housing programs for the aging and indigent, under the guidelines of the u.s. Department of housing and urban development (hud) pursuant to section 202 of the national housing act.the underlying property was sold in 2021, and the organization is in the process of winding down its operations.
