David cone foundation, inc. (the "foundation") is a not-for profit corporation, which was incorporated on april 30,1998, under the laws of the state of new york. The foundation accepts contributions and organizes various fundraising events in order to make charitable contributions to organizations that are exempt from taxation under section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended. Major fundraising events are milestone anniversary galas and periodic softball tournaments whose teams are coached by volunteer professional baseball players.
