Program Offices, Enterprises, Volunteers & Outreach Program Services:Program Offices - In 2024, Days for Girls had Program Offices in Kenya, Uganda, and Nepal. These locally operated Program Offices represent DfG in their respective countries and oversee and implement DfG programming, including the production of DfG Washable Pad Kits, the delivery of DfG menstrual health education, and National-level Advocacy. In 2024, the Program Offices reached a total of 75,932 people.Social Enterprises - In 2024, DfG 87 Social Enterprises reached 176,850 people with access to locally produced menstrual health products and menstrual health education across 28 countries. Enterprise leaders and employees globally, including in Kenya, Uganda, and Nepal, participated in in-person and virtual trainings delivered by DfG on topics including business, accounting, sales, marketing, sewing quality, advocacy, and menstrual health education. Volunteers - Days for Girls Chapters, Teams, and Clubs unite to spread awareness, raise funds, sew DfG washable pads, and elevate the efforts of locally run Social Enterprises. DfG advocacy volunteers and partners lend their time and talents to advance menstrual health policy in their communities. In 2024, DfG's 13,889 volunteers reached 175,681 people with access to menstrual health products and menstrual health education globally. This includes reaching:- 3,921 people in Bangladesh- 10,509 people in Burundi, including refugee women and girls- 11,112 people in Cuba - 5,325 in Honduras- 3,110 in Jordan, including refugee women and girls- 4,968 in Lebanon, including refugee women and girls- 7,769 in Mexico- 10,673 in Papua New Guinea- 18,7,80 in Somalia including refugee women and girls- 2,340 people affected by the conflict in Ukraine- 2,548 people in Vietnam- 20,899 people locally in the United StatesOverall, in 2024, DfG reached 356,265 people with menstrual health programming, including 330,988 people with period products.
