To empower, raise awareness, and bridge a sustainable foundation of communication and equal access for the deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, and the hearing communities.

Deaf inc. Provides one-on-one advocacy direct support to individuals with hearing loss. Through this support, individuals are empowered to understand their rights to communication and equal access to information. In 2024, the organization provided direct support to 518 individuals, including youth, family, and adults with hearing loss. The organization also raises awareness through outreach and training. In 2024, there were 370 individuals that registered for sign language classes, 14 trainings and presentations provided, and over 65 outreach videos procuded.

Deaf, inc.'s breast cancer peer-support group program, pink wings of hope, offers comprehensive support services tailored to the unique needs of individuals within the deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind community affected by cancer. Through the combination of direct support, peer-support services, and education workshops and trainings, pink wings of hope empowers individuals to navigate their cancer journey with confidence and resilience.

As a vital component of our community program, the youth & family program offers comprehensive resources, advocacy, and direct support services tailored to families with youth aged from birth to 18 years who are experiencing hearing loss. The program also serves children with deaf adults (codas). The overarching goal is to ensure that every family can communicate, connect, and thrive together.

The deaf visual arts program is an arts and culture program that consists of a combination of artwork, film, theatre, poetry, comedy, dance, and visual art - all presented or delivered in american sign language (asl). The program encompasses asl tours at art museums, a dynamic youth program, engaging art classes, informative culture presentations, and enriching film festival, the celebrated deaf visual arts festival, and an esteemed award ceremony honoring the achievements of emerging deaf and hard of hearing artists.
