Ged (general education diploma) the ged examination is divided into 6 tests: language, arts and writing, social studies, science, reading and mathematics. These tests are designed to measure the knowledge and skills that a student should have acquired after four years in high school. Once the student finished his/her ged preparation at dcet, they are referred to an official testing center to final test and certification. Computer literacy course: these classes are provided mondays and wednesdays from 12-6 pm. This is a 180 hours course certified from the tec of monterrey university. The course includes 8 modules, from introduction to the world of computers to word, excel, power point, publisher. Graduation celebration day is always the first saturday of august.

Citizenship preparation course: this free course is also offered tuesdays and thursdays form 12-6 pm. We prepare students for the usa citizenship exam providing them all the necessary guidance to respond to the interview and questions by homeland security. Students need to respond to esl (english as a second language) the need to study 100 questions related government, history and civics. Preparation also includes roles and responsabilities or new citizens participating in voting and learning about laws and legal system of the united states of america.$ 11,106.00
