Mission

The Deboche Project is an organized effort to restore and make viable the Deboche Nunnery, one of the oldest and most significant cultural treasures in the Himalayas. In addition to restoring the existing convent, especially the damage caused by recent earthquakes, the Deboche Project will help support the building of a new nuns' resident and a meditation/teaching center to be used for residential programs, individual retreats, and community involvement.
