Represent decatur police officers in collective bargaining with the city of decatur over wages, hours, and all other terms and conditions of employment. The organization shall also represent decatur officers in grievances and matters of discipline and discharge with the city of decatur. To promote the welfare of the membership and the law enforcement community in general through collective bargaining, legislation, and the electoral process.
