To promote and encourage the welfare and protection of animals and provide temporary and permanent shelter to such other animals as may need emergency or other protection from neglect and abuse, including but not limited to cats, dogs, sheep, horses, deer cattle, and other natural wildlife generally in existence in the united states, with a particular focus on promotion of humane treatment and care of neglected and abused animals promoting their adoption and well-being.
