Mission
Dmcc is a volunteer-driven organization providing programs and services to allow our maturing seniors to live safely and independently in the homes they love.
Programs
3 programs
Transportation: volunteers from the community provide rides for medical visits and a van is operated for door-to-door trips to the grocery and drug stores. Discounted taxi vouchers are sold as part of the city of del mar's dial-a-ride program. These programs are administered by dmcc employees.
Health, legal and social services: brain fitness, disaster preparedness, health and legal forums are among the many programs provided. The dmcc van is used to bring home-bound residents to the community center to eat lunch and participate in a program or socialize with each other.
Housing: del mar community connections administers the rental subsidy program and shared housing program under a contract with the city of del mar.
