Delaware valley lyric opera guild's mission is to offer a stepping stone for singers in the greater philadelphia area, providing training and education through exposure to all facets of operatic production and performance opportunities in a variety of operas. Additionally, delaware valley lyric opera guild is committed to making opera an affordable experience for all to enjoy. The primary focus of delaware valley lyric opera guild is its summer festival: three operatic productions in june, july and august. Since its founding in 1979, the company has createdhundreds of performance opportunities and presented over 100 fully staged operas and countless concerts.
