Mission

Democrashe is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering intersectional female-identifying high school students to become future elected leaders. We encourage young women to elevate their voices through self-advocacy, civic engagement, and community building, empowering a new generation of female voters, advocates, and elected officials. Democrashe creates a safe, brave, joyful space where young women receive the support and guidance they need to pursue the roles they deserve. As an organization we are committed to serving all women, and as such we strive to be actively anti-racist and intersectional. The graduates of our program see civic engagement as their responsibility and running for office as their birthright.
