The Library cultivates interest in earth science through data exploration and community events.

In 2021, the Library opened its doors to serve as a coworking space and idea incubator for new projects, including geothermal and data analytics. A community space has been added that includes a large classroom and assembling room. The Library offers working space and rentals for classes and seminars to other organizations at a discounted rate.
