Mission
DPP's mission is to help break the vicious cycle of repeated drug abuse and incarceration off individual lives through empowerment. Recovery and Reentry Support Services such as Case Management, Recovery Housing, Transportation, Vital Records, and Basic needs assistance are provided.
Programs

Prince Georges County, MD Department of Corrections (DOC) provides reentry housing placement support to return citizens with substance abuse disorders. DPP has provided reentry support for a 12 month period, for 8 to 10 clients per month.
Employ Prince George's County Returning Citizen's Affair Division (RCAD) provides client support services such as transportation assistance, MD IDs, phones and gift cards for food, clothes, bedding and toiletries. DPP has provided these support services to 100 clients.
Damascus House, DHCDC Ristore Program provides case management consulting . DPP provides case management for over 30 clients per budget year.
CORP Prince Georges County and FSC provides client entry/reentry support services such as housing placement, MD IDs, birth certificates, and transportation. DPP has provided these services for 50 clients.
Prince Georges County, MD Office of Community Relations Hope In Action (HIA) provides reentry housing placement and transportation assistance to return citizens with substance abuse disorders. DPP provided housing for 7 clients per month and transportation assistance for 40 clients.
Maryland Behavior Health Administration, MD Recovery Net (MDRN) services include care coordination check-ins, transportation, IDs and licenses, clothing, food, medical, housing, educational assist, and connection to community resources. DPP provided services for24 clients.
