Detroit Experience Factory

Our tour program gives you an inside look into the neighborhoods, landmarks and businesses that make up Detroit's past and present. Our tour guides live, work, and play in Detroit offering an individualized perspective on each tour while also covering a wide range of narratives. Expect to hear from businesses owners and residents where applicable for diverse stories and perspectives.

Offerings include Learning Journeys, in-depth experiences that focus on Detroit as a classroom including site visits, panel discussions, and case studies; the City Experience Program, advice and resources to help cities craft interactive experiences that connect locals and newcomers to the people, places and projects that make each city unique; and Keynotes and Workshops, presentations and interactive workshops to share Detroit's lessons learned at events and conferences locally and around the world.
