Dhit Global

Launched in 2022 and continuing in 2024, dhit global managed and grew the north carolina health innovation district (nchid) to build capacity locally to promote the adoption of digital health technologies globally for the greater good. The nchid aggregates, convenes and guides entrepreneurs and health innovators to the many resources across the state of north carolina that support the acceleration and maturity of health innovations.

With the launch and growth of the north carolina health innovation district, came with it the emergence of an annual conference to convene not just the north carolina health innovation ecosystem, but the broader regional and national ecosystem of stakeholders of health innovation. As in 2023, the 2024 nchid summit convened ~200 directors, executives, and entrepreneurs to explore, share, and learn about the next practices in health innovation.

In collaboration with gilead sciences, dhit global launched a multi-city community-driven innovation program engaging stakeholders across the hiv prevention and innovation ecosystems to uncover unmet needs and respond with agile solution development. This program brought together over 30 community business organizations across the three cities to unify around a common understanding of challenges to solve for. The conclusion of the program resulted in 6 winning teams moving forward for further development.
