Diabeating The Odds

Founded in April 2023 by Type 1 diabetic, Portia Benbow, DiaBeating The Odds (DTO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on empowering individuals living with diabetes in underserved communities to pursue a healthy and vibrant life by helping to alleviate common barriers to effective diabetes management. Through education and awareness, community building, and access to health and wellness resources, we strive to create a support system for diabetics around the country, with an emphasis on the state of Georgia.
