Mission
Provide shelter and adoption services for abandoned and lost animals and to educate the public in the areas of pet care and responsibility
Programs
3 programs
The public was educated in the areas of pet care and responsibility by newletters, pamphlets, school visits and speeches. Pet adoption ads were placed for the animals in the shelter.
Homeless and lost dogs and cats were sheltered and cared for until adopted, returned to owners or euthanized. Animals such as birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and other various animals were also sheltered and cared for. Records on animals placed in our shelter and/or adopted were maintained. Volunteers regularly come to the shelter to help care for the animals.
Shelter animals were cared for and the shelter manager supervised all operations, volunteers and employees of the shelter in addition to coordinating fundraising efforts and community awareness of homeless animals. We have volunteers who help in the everyday maintenance of the shelter and care of the animals.
