Mission
The primary purpose of the council is to promote a safer and more trustworthy and vibrant internet by: (a) facilitating industry consensus on and documentation of the evolving state of the art in content and behavior moderation practices and processes utilized across diverse interactive computer services (collectively, "practices and processes"); (b) publicly certifying compliance with such practices and processes; (c) promoting implementation and understanding of such practices and processes among industry, consumers and users, policymakers, and law enforcement; and (d) undertaking such other activities as may from time to time be appropriate to further the purposes and achieve the goals set forth above.

Led the world economic forum global coalition for digital safety as co-chair of its work stream on digital safety risks assessments, authoring a report on measuring digital safety.
Organized events and participated in conferences to share insights from dtsp's work with stakeholders. Co-organized the european rights & risks stakeholder engagement forum, a two-day workshop in brussels, belgium on systemic risks.
