We achieved our goal to provide a comfortable stay for patients which increased our patient days. We contracted with case management company to help increase patient volume and also to provide information to patients in other cities the ability to bring patients to recuperate closer to home. We also acquired lab testing equipment to provide patients a easier and faster response for respiratory viruses including covid. Two dual blanket warmers were purchased for patients in the o.r. And recovery room. 15 sleeper recliners were also purchased for labor and delivery and med/surg for patients.

The acquisiton of a physician practice has allowed us to set up a provider based rural health clinic to provide healthcare services to our rural community. We also purchased the building that we were leasing for acquired physician practice and the savings in that helped provide upgrades for patient care. We had purchased a modular building that was being used for admin personnel and now be used to house all physical therapy services. This will provide patients a centralized location for physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy. Ultra mist equipment and generator were purchased for our wound care department.
