Diocesan Council Society Of St Vincent De Paul Cleveland Diocese

Redistribution of contributions, gifts and grants to and through other st. Vincent de paul society district councils and parish conferences within the diocese of cleveland which in turn provide assistance to the needy within their geographic areas.

In 2023-2024, it is estimated that 58 st. Vincent de paul parish groups in northeast ohio helped 131,532 people, made 24,243 visits to people, and provided $1,427,123 in food, furniture, and emergency help; along with $856,053 in eviction/homelessness prevention. These local neighborhood svdp groups had 11,132 active volunteers in eight counties of northeast ohio. Svdp members spent approximately 99,136 hours in this ministry and service worth more than an estimated $3,320,065 ($33.49 per hour).
