Protection and advocacy for individuals with mental illness.dri accepted 313 requests for services from people with mental illness, including 4 investigations of abuse or neglect, 0 litigation, represented 18 clients at hearing, 8 technical assistance, 171 short term technical assistance cases, and 108 information and referrals. Dri conducted 25 trainings for people with mental illness, their families and care providers. Dri also provided analysis and education on the impact of public policy issues on people with mental illness.

Developmental disabilities assistance.dri accepted 136 requests for service from people with developmental disabilities, including 1 investigations of abuse and neglect, 1 litigation, represented 12 clients at hearing, 9 technical assistance, 76 short term technical assistance cases and 37 information and referrals. Dri conducted 32 training sessions for people with dd and their families and care provider. Dri also provided analysis and education on the impact of public policy issues on people with developmental disabilities.
