Chapter 28 recognizes the unique challenges faced by women veterans after their service. To address these needs, we provide targeted support and funding for specialized programs and events that focus on mental health, overall well being and other critical aspects of reintegration. These inititives are designed to empower women veterans, ensuring they receive the care and resources necessary for a successful transition to civilian life.
Chapter 28 is committed to supporting veterans in our local community through a variety of intitives. These include providing meal services for veterans, hosting events that foster camaraderie and encourage outdoor activities to promote healthier lifestyles. We offer scholarships for veterans and their familes pursuing higher education and organize appreciation and rememberance events to honor their services. These programs are designed to stregthen the bonds with our veteran community and enhance theor overall well being.
