Disabled American Veterans

Transportation program maintains network of vehicles, drivers and volunteers that arrange, coordinate and provide transportation for verterans to a v a medical facilities at no cost to veterans needing transportation.

Hospital program employs department service officers and many v a voluntary service volunteers at each v a facility in the state of ohio. The program also provides patients personal care items and comfort to hospitalized veterans, as well as assistance with preparation and submissionof service connected disability claims to the us department of veterans affairs.

Support for dav national service officers who represent veterans claimants at the v a equipment, training, supplies and transportation costs aid the service officers represent veterans to secure benefits and awards.
