the organization partnered with Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation CSAVR and The NET to launch The Abilities to Careers Technical Virtual Learning Platform ACT-VLP, which provides on-demand, online instructor-led training focused on high-demand technology skill sets to support career development for people with disabilities. ACT-VLP offers various technology career tracks and preparation for industry-specific IT certifications. The video-based courses praised for accessibility are supplemented by a teacher's assistant and online discussion group. With 115 students currently enrolled, ACT-VLP empowers people with disabilities through self-directed learning journeys tailored to individual interests and skills, and has achieved success in preparing students for technology jobs.
