Queer Mvmnt FestThrough an intersectional lens, Queer Mvmnt Fest, has highlighted LGBTQ+ artists with emphasis on BIPOC contributors, through performance, workshops, discussions, and classes for affinity groups and the general public. These funds were used to pay contracted artists and the resources to support them such as rehearsal and performance space, and administrative and production staff.
S P A C E Alliance DISCO RIOTs S P A C E Alliance Studio Residency program promotes the cooperation of local spaces and movement-artists. This unique program not only connects dance makers to rehearsal space, but also offers an organized and mindful experience for creative inquiry, artistic development, networking, creative and cultural exchange, and a platform to share work.
Choreo & _Choreo & _______ is a performance plus an activity that allows for people to engage in something physical between short dance performances by local movement artists. This intersection of performance and participation creates a unique experience for local dance artists and audiences. Choreo & _______ is about engaging with meaningful opportunities to move our bodies, enjoy physical expression, and build community through movement.
