Distressed children & infants international (dci) protects child rights and helps families in developing countries out of poverty through education, health care, and income generating opportunities. Dci also connects american youth to less fortunate children in other countries and inspires them to take leadership in humanitarian causes.

Orphan support program: provides support for shelter,food, basic necessities education, skill development,and cultural and sports activities to government-run and non-govermment orphanages of bangladesh and nepal.

The blindness prevention program: dedicated to making vision care accessible to underprivileged children and families living in urban slums and remote, underserved rural areas. Through this initiative, dci provides free eye screenings to detect early signs of visual impairment. It offers treatment services for refractive errors and cataracts, which are among the leading causes of preventable blindness. The program also promotes community awareness and education on eye health and ensures access to resources that support the visually impaired. The program operates in bangladesh and india.

Dci's youth leadership program prepares american youth to be future humanitarian leaders.
