Diverse Emerging Music Organization

Founded in 1999 as the diverse arts and music foundation, the diverse emerging music organization (demo) is a minnesota 501(c)3 non-profit corporation whose mission is "sustaining and promoting minnesota's independent music legacy". We do this by providing a performance space for local artists to introduce their music,curating a small museum and collaboration space focused on local music, and sponsoring the minnesota music archive. About the minnesota music archive project: the goal of the minnesota music archive project is to create a comprehensive digital archive of every independent and small commercial recording ever released by minnesota musicians, preserving these recordings for future generations and sustaining minnesota's rich musical legacy.
