Training & development: the annual summit is our larger professional development event intended for dietitians and other nutrition professionals working in diverse communities. It is also welcome to nutrition students and interns aspiring to join the field. The 3-day virtual conference takes a deep dive into the why and how of important nutrition topics, from growing your own business to combating food insecurity, and much more. Content is prepared and delivered by experienced dietitians working in the field. Participants are able to learn, build community, and are provided with continuing education credits.

Mentor program our mentor program brings together nutrition students, dietetic interns, and newly credentialed professionals with practicing rdns in their subfield of choice. Through monthly meetings, mentees and mentors discuss topics from code-switching and work culture to professional development. This year, the mento program had both 1:1 membership in addition to member program pods which are groups that supported group based mentorship by themes like private practice, community nutrition, and clinical skills. In 2024, 150 mentors and mentees participated in the mentor program.
