In keeping with the second component of the exempt purpose, the organization was responsible for the care (directly or by placement into foster homes identified and screened by the organization) of approximately 300 animals. See statement below regarding expense allocation.

In keeping with the third component of the exempt purpose, approximately 250 rescued animals were adopted out to loving forever homes.
