Daughters Overcoming Lifes Lessons D.O.L.L.S & DREAMS INC. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls young women and young men to become confident compassionate and impactful leaders. Founded in 2017 by Remy Henderson-Smith Founder CEO & Program Director a Washington D.C. native D.O.L.L.S & DREAMS INC. empowers youth through life skills training emotional support and leadership development addressing challenges such as court involvement truancy and employment disparities. With a background as a Family Support Worker Remy brings over 15 years of experience in community-based interventions ensuring that programs are tailored to meet the social emotional and educational needs of underserved youth. She leads the organizations strategic planning program development and partnerships while securing grants and sponsorships to sustain and expand its impact. Additionally her expertise in fashion retail management and entrepreneurship.
