Full court representationdalac has created a group of dedicated volunteer attorneys and one full-time staff attorney, licensed in minnesota, and in good standing, who provide the following legal services to the residents at the collaborating shelters:- full court representationin-kind attorney services donated by volunteer attorneys in the amount of $210,000.00.
In court representation of order for protections and eviction expungements & monthly legal clinicsdalac has created a group of dedicated volunteer attorneys, licensed in minnesota, and in good standing, who provide the following legal services to the residents at the collaborating shelters: - in-court representation on orders for protection (ofp) and eviction expungements - the residents at these shelters are provided with legal advice and resources on a wide variety of legal issues during a monthly legal clinic and in cases of a legal emergency in between the legal clinics. See schedule o for continuationthis is due to the risk to personal safety, lack of financial resources, lack of transportation, inability to obtain childcare and lack of uncomplicated access to legal counsel. Legal issues that are addressed, include but are not limited to family law, order for protections, eviction expungements, consumer protection and landlord/tenant issues.in-kind attorney services donated by volunteer attorneys in the amount of $200,039.00.
