Donate Life North Carolina

DMV Outreach - Our DMV outreach program provided four in-person visits to each of the 115 DMV offices in FY24toprovide educational information to all DMV examiners and offices in NC during the year to educate drivers about organ, eye andtissue donation. In addition, we provided in-person training to all new DMV examiners and gave awards to 14 DMV offices with the highest donor designation rates in the state. We also participated in Summer Saturday programs at select DMV offices throughout the summer to answer questions about organ, eye and tissue donation from customers waiting to get their licenses.

Teen Outreach - We worked in collaboration with HOSA (Health Occupations Student Association)and SODA (Student Organ Donation Advocates) to promote organ, eye, and tissue donation to at least 18 student clubs in North Carolina. We also provided outreach and education to health teachers across North Carolina and driver education instructors working with high schools.
