For our "Urgent aid for El Geneina area West Darfur, we raised $313 in cash. But on April 15, 2023, war broke out in Sudan, resulting among other things in the massacre of the Masalit in El Geneina in April through June of 2023 (our board, membership, and our overseas team are all Masalit, even though our nonprofit serves any Darfuri civilians we can, regardless of tribe). Our El Geneina team had to flee El Geneina for their lives, arriving in Adre, Chad. Under these conditions, we were not able to continue providing aid in West Darfur.
